Capacitive level sensors
Capacitive sensors
Need to detect and monitor fill levels in containers, pipes, or tanks—either with or without contact through non-metallic container walls? Balluff capacitive level sensors are built for reliable capacitive level measurement across a wide range of industrial applications.
For applications that require direct contact with the media, contact level sensors determine the fill level of granulates, powders, viscous substances, liquids, and other bulk materials. They are available in multiple configurations such as cylindrical designs, immersion probes, and options for hole or flange mounting, including pressure-rated versions.
For non-contact level measurement through non-metallic container walls, capacitive non-contact level sensors detect liquids and bulk materials without direct interaction. With Balluff’s patented Smart Level technology, sensors compensate for moisture, foam, and adhesion and can work through glass and plastic barriers up to 10 mm thick.
