Transmission coupler PET 18-5 is a loop powered type proximity sensor that transmits signals by magnetic coupling of coils hence making external power supply unnecessary. This type is highly immune to environmental contaminants and does not cause any malfunctions even when its transmitting part is contaminated by oil or dirt.
